move, connect & thrive in motherhood

Dear Reader

Just in case you need it, here's a few things that helped me to do the work on myself in 2025.

1.Visualize Your Perfect Day (Meditation)

I do this visualisation meditation about 3-4 times a week. Usually first thing in the morning, before Frankie wakes, while my coffee is brewing. Doing it before sunrise feels extra special too.

2.Better Help

Seeking out a new therapist in early 2025, was the single greatest thing that helped me cope when times got really tough. The wonderful thing about BetterHelp is that they match you with a therapist based on your criteria/needs etc. And if you don't vibe with your therapist, you can change therapists at the click of a button.

3. Rise with Roxie Podcast

There are so many wonderful guests on this podcast whose conversations have challenged me, changed my perspective and altered the way I treat myself. If you're interested in working on yourself this year, I highliy recommend diving into some of Roxie's podcast episodes.

And if you're looking for something to get you moving, keep you accountable, and boost how you feel about yourself, you can come and try a Mighty Mums class while trials take place over the next 5 weeks!

MIGHTY MUMS move connect & thrive in motherhood Hi Reader Have you ever said 'right, that's it! I'm starting over on Monday!' You decided you'd start exercising, meditating, eating better, and drinking two litres of water all at once. A full lifestyle reset. It went well for three days. Then it didn't. And because you didn't do ALL of it, you felt like you'd failed. So you stopped completely. If this sounds familiar - know that you are in good company! The problem isn't that you have no...

MIGHTY MUMS move connect & thrive in motherhood Hi Reader It's often thought that the number one reason we so easily break new habits is that we have very little will power. Well I'm here to tell you that this is not entirely true. The main reason so many of us struggle to keep new habits or break existing habits is because of the all or nothing approach. I often hear clients saying: 'I'm giving up alcohol' 'I'm cutting out all sugary/fatty foods' 'I'm going to the gym 4 times a week' All...

MIGHTY MUMS move connect & thrive in motherhood Hi Reader A few weeks ago, our local MP, Simon Kennedy, came down to Cronulla Park to join a Mighty Mums class in person. He did the whole session, stayed for coffee afterwards, and chatted with the women in our community about what we do and why it matters. Mr Simon Kennedy MP Visits Mighty Mums The visit was part of a national MumSafe campaign that I'm proud to be involved in. As a MumSafe trainer, I'm one of many trainers across Australia...
